Killebrew/Nitschke---1971
After posting the Ray Nitschke card
yesterday, we came across a 1971
Harmon Killebrew card. Now, it is just
us or do you also have the eerie
feeling that Ray and Harmon were
really twins who were separtated at
birth?
Both were born in 1936. Those
noses sure look like they came from
the same gene pool. And they were
both big hitters, albiet, in different
sports.
Possibly they were the same person.
Maybe Harmon would set aside his
baseball glove and put on the pads
for a winter job. Or could it have
been Ray who after sacking his last
quarterback, would head south to
spring training only to sneak into a
Twins uniform and mysteriously show
up in batting cages.
This is all too wierd for us...............
