Bill Jessup--1958

Out of the Super Bowl Media Day for
2013
came the verbal sparring between
Randy Moss and Jerry Rice as to which
one of them is the "Best Wide Receiver
in NFL HIstory."

Stats show that Rice is clearly the "Best
Ever". Moss' mind and mouth believes
otherwise.

Yet this picture shows us that maybe Bill
Jessup might be the "NFL's Best Ever
Receiver", despite catching only 61
passes for 994 yards and seven
touchdowns. Just look at the guy---
catching a pass
and doing the splits.

And if you think that's easy, just give it a
try.

Editor's Note: Jessup played for the San
Francisco 49ers (1950-58) and Denver
(1960). At age 83, Jessup is presently
one of the oldest living former NFL
players.
